Rico's Famous Burgers

Ingredients
- 2.25 lbs ground beef 85/15
- 1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/2 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp worchestshire sauce
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp coarse sea salt
- 1 tsp pepper

Instructions
Combine all ingredients except salt and pepper into a large mixing bowl. Mix well to combine.
Using a kitchen scale, measure each patty into equal weights, which will provide a consistent cook for each burger.
Flip the burgers every four minutes, until the burgers reach an internal temperature of 160. If adding cheese, place on top of burgers and let the cheese melt.
Once the burgers reach 160 degrees, remove from heat and cover with tented foil to allow them to rest. They will continue cooking and should reach 165, which is the FDA recommended safe temperature.
Serve on a bun, if desired, with your favorite fixins and condiments.
